You don’t have to travel all the way to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest, you can celebrate it right here with friends and family at an authentic German restaurant in Collierville.

Mary’s German Restaurant¬†offers complete dinner meals created from authentic German recipes. The owners Klaus and Maria Nowak invite you to try German food like Schnitzels, Sauerkraut and Red Cabbage and Spaetzle. A Schnitzel is a thinly pounded piece of meat (veal, pork or beef) which is breaded and then fried. Mary’s serves many different Schnitzels, including the popular Jaeger Schnitzel. Sometimes if you are lucky you might catch specials like¬†their popular Beef Gulasch or delicious Apple Strudel.

Choose from additional side dishes like German Potato Salad and pan fried potatoes. Sample tasty German draft beers like a Spaten Munich lager and then top it all off with a piece of luscious chocolate-filled Black Forest Cake.

Mary’s German Restaurant is located at 2140 W. Poplar Avenue in Collierville. The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesdays through Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
